DAM Architectural Book Award 2023

The Scheidegger & Spiess title Urban Change over Time is one of ten winners of the 2023 DAM Architectural Book Award 2023, given each year by the German Architecture Museum (DAM) in cooperation with the Frankfurt Book Fair. Congratulations to everyone involved in the making of the book – we couldn’t be happier!

Urban Change over Time, edited by Meret Wandeler, Ulrich Görlich, and Caspar Schärer, is the culmination of a much-recognized research project that documents urban development in Switzerland over a period of fifteen years through the medium of photography. A photographic record of building activity and urbanization processes, compiled based on the example of Schlieren near Zurich, demonstrates how the character of a typical Swiss suburban community is being altered over time.
