The life's work of Markus Raetz

The life's work of Markus Raetz

In April the renowned contemporary arist Markus Raetz sadly passed away. He had already participated in the documenta early on in his career and worked with Harald Szeemann on the legendary exhibition When Attitue Becomes Form, was awarded the Gerhard Altenbourg Prize and the Prix Meret Oppenheim and represented Switzerland at the Venice Biennale. In 2016 Rainer Michael Mason published the comprehensive Catalogue Raisonnée of his prints-nearly a thousand pages long, the two-volume work has become an importance reference on the manifaceted oeuvre of this great Swiss artist.
